Now Careers are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager for their Client, an established National Building Contractor to be based in their Brisbane Head Office. This opportunity would see you working on Commercial, Retail & Hospitality Projects to $40m.   

An opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Fit Out and New Build delivery. With many projects in the pipeline and many high profile clients, this role will keep you excited and challenged.The role involves a strong focus on fit out projects in the Commercial, Retail and Hospitality sectors.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Managing fit out and new build projects from beginning to end including finances, construction and delivery.
• Preparation and sign off of project briefs for external consultants.
• Make recommendations to appoint consultants.
• To liaise, manage and manage the expectations of all projects stakeholders including clients, consultants and contractors (i.e. builders).
• Develop and recommend project procurement strategies and plans.
• Administer all aspects of project design and construction contracts.
• Attend project meetings as required.

The successful candidate will:

• Be self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team. 
• Previous experience project managing and delivering high quality construction projects.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (colleagues, executive leadership team, clients) and externally (contractors, consultants, suppliers).
• Have a strong commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to set up projects financially from the outset.
