We’re looking to add to our Sales Support QA team! Based in our Altona Head Office, this role is responsible for undertaking Quality Assurance checks of new home sales files received from our Sales Department and to ensure compliance with Customer New Home Estimates, Burbank policies, developer requirements and building regulations.
  
A week in the life –

• Ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of jobs through to workflow for Contract and Building permit
• Ensuring potential problems are identified early and solutions offered to the Sales team and Burbank customers
• Safeguarding the interests of Burbank, ensuring adherence to Variation, Construction & Pricing policies and reporting non-compliance to the Sales Support Manager
• Ensuring each job has considered all aspects of Rescode, Title and Plan of Subdivision restrictions, planning requirements and Developer requirements
• Recording all discussions and information in Burbank’s info management system and ensuring up to date reporting of job progress notes
• Ensuring profit margin preservation by checking sales discounts and identifying potential problems
• Building and maintaining relationships with each region’s Sales Manager via regular communication and feedback

What you’ll need to be successful in the role –

• At least 3 years’ experience in the building industry with a strong administrative background and knowledge of building terminology
• A background in Estimating or Drafting would be considered advantageous 
• Excellent technical knowledge of building regulations (Rescode), developer guidelines, developer engineering plans, title documents including plans of subdivisions, MCPs and building envelopes
• Good understanding of individual Council’s planning requirements and overlays
• Ability to effectively prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure both independently and as part of a team
