Construction Sciences is a 750 strong team, located in 52 laboratories. Our dynamic team provides Construction Materials Testing, Geotechnical Engineering, Subsurface Utility Engineering and Environmental Services, in Australia and internationally. Our strength is providing prompt turnarounds of large volumes of tests, accurately. We are major project specialists.

Construction Sciences provides a range of first-class services; we are currently looking to recruit a Driller to join our team in Mackay. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a high understanding of the standards in which we work and have extensive practical experience in Geotechnical Drilling.
  
About the role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operation of Drill Rigs
• Site Investigations
• Soil Sampling and Testing
• Site Surveys
• Ensure adherence to Quality and Safety standards

About you
In order to be successful for this role you will ideally possess:

• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Prior experience in Geotechnical Drilling – SPT’s, auger drilling, rock coring
• QLD water bore license (Highly desirable but not essential)
• Current Truck Driver’s license
• Construction Industry Card (blue card/white card – general induction)
• Client liaison and relationship skills
• Proven ability in analytical and problem solving skills
