Our dynamic team provides Construction Materials Testing, Geotechnical Engineering, Subsurface Utility Engineering and Environmental Services, in Australia and internationally. Our strength is providing prompt turnarounds of large volumes of tests, accurately. We are major project specialists.

Construction Sciences provides a range of first-class services; we are currently looking to recruit  Trainee & Experienced CMT Technicians to join our team. Opportunities are currently available in our Laboratory located in Adelaide. Successful candidates will be committed to working within a team environment and will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects throughout the state.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The role will have an emphasis on technical expertise combined with project management, analysis and reporting in support of our established network of laboratories. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting Laboratory and field testing of Concrete, Aggregates and Soils
• Produce clear and concise field and laboratory records and reports
• Weekend work and overtime may be required

We have immediate starts with great conditions and rates for field Technicians both Concrete & Soils.

ABOUT YOU
In order to be successful for this role you will ideally possess:

• Licence to operate a Nuclear Density Meter
• Signatory in TMR Methods
• Cert 4 in Construction Science or similar is advantageous
• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Earth Works Experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• An ability to work cohesively within a team driven environment.
• Familiar with relevant Australian and Main Roads testing standards
• A current driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen are essential.
