The Company:

Our client is an award-winning residential builder with a reputation for constructing quality Customized Homes and Unit-developments across Melbourne's Western / Northern Suburbs. With an emphasis on quality over quantity, they are currently putting 1000 jobs in the ground each year. They pride themselves on creating a dynamic, enjoyable and healthy working environment - truly the envy of the industry! Currently they are seeking to add more capability to their Construction team and would seek to engage people with a strong background of experience and people who are looking to progress their career.
  
The Role:

• Overseeing a team of Site Managers across several projects
• Conducting weekly/fortnightly meetings to engage your team and grow capability
• Ensuring all jobs under construction are being managed effectively
• Overseeing a team of Site Managers across the Western Suburbs
• Work closely with the General Manager of Operations to drive outcomes
• Promote & maintain safe work protocols at all times – safety inspections as required 
• Develop and maintain service provided by trades and suppliers.
• Being the first point of contact for customer escalation issues
• Applying sound judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Completing quality assurance inspections

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating as a Construction Manager (preferably within the volume new home environment)
• Extensive experience in construction and supervision of residential construction projects
• Experience in coordinating and managing trades personnel
• Demonstrated experience in leading a team
• Tertiary quals in building and construction or similar discipline
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced analytical and investigative skills
• Red Card and current driver’s licence
• Holder of a White card
