This contractor is one of the biggest names in the commercial retail sector in Melbourne and comes with an impressive pedigree; with its senior management team bringing a valuable repeat client list and outstanding track record in delivering a wide range of projects from repeat clients in the commercial, industrial and retail arenas. They have a genuine winning culture and can-do attitude and are seeking energetic and passionate supervisors who are willing to go the extra mile to get the job done for a valuable repeat list of clients.
As part of their strategic expansion plans and recent project wins they are now seeking to appoint an up and coming Foreman/Site Manager to join the team for a Night Shift and/or Day Shift on a retail refurb project based in West Gippsland. With upcoming projects in the Gippsland area, this is an ideal opportunity for a construction professional seeking to join a major player that is making its mark. As a Foreman/Site Manager with this group, you will work closely with one of the Project Managers, but will have full responsibility for the planning, organising and managing the overall site including:
- Site control trade coordination
- Works and program planning
- Induction and safety analysis
- Material purchase
- OH&S and day to day management of IR
- Client, subcontractor and stakeholder management
- Certification of occupancy
This is a fantastic role for an individual with a strong track record as a Site manager or Foreman level who has strong experience and stable employment history within the Victorian construction industry. An attractive hourly rate is on offer of $65-75 per hour + super.
