Our client is looking for someone who is customer focused, dynamic and dedicated, who can meet key stakeholders, to give them support with brand awareness, legislation and best practice advise.
The role is to support and promote the interests of members. The role will play a key part in improving the profile of membership and to showcase the value of working with the members.
This is a varied role in every aspect of the industry, from examination, design, manufacture, refurbishment and repair, through to the hire, maintenance and use of lifting equipment.

Responsibilities
Required to support the clients identify and manage risk;
Advocate and promotion of associations;
Ability to create brand awareness;
Provide clients with a competitive edge;
Develop a suite of member benefits;
Develop a retention and support plan for members;
Liaise with linked/related and user markets to raise the profile of members in key industries including but not limited to mining, construction, energy production etc;
Promote the values of the company with social media;
Ability to be creative with exhibitions and events;
Required to work with government agencies/stakeholders to promote standards required in the workplace;
Coordinate and complete annual audits on site to ensure compliance;
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action;
Assign projects to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Skills and Knowledge required:
Ambition to become an industry expert and support members;
Excellent networking skills;
Previous strong account management experience;
High level of customer service and relationship management;
Ideally experience working for a related trade association in a similar role;
Skills in building impactful relationships;
Ability to be the front face for a global trade association;
Ability to work on own initiative in a supported but geographically distant way;
Skills in persuasion and negotiation;
Ability to work with very senior business people.

Willingness to travel in the AUS/NZ region is essential in this role.
