An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced, hands on Civil and/or Streetscape Foreman to join our growing construction company located in Melbourne's north, working on a variety of projects. The successful applicant will be liaising with the Project Managers in order to meet the needs of the client within strict budget requirements.

To be successful in this job:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinating and Supervising onsite staff
• Conducting site inductions for staff and sub-contractors.
• Managing the sub-contractors to ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities, monitoring their performance daily in regards to safety, quality, program and report deficiencies to the Project Manager.
• Reading plans, marking out, contacting subcontractors, organising daily and weekly programs
• Attending site meetings if and when required
• Assisting the Project Manager in the completion and handover of the project by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided
• OH&S, Quality & Environmental Management
• Any other duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Experience working on Civil & Streetscape projects is ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, labourers in a professional manner ESSENTIAL
• Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and requirements ESSENTIAL
• A proven experience of effectively controlling site safety, quality and environmental issues ESSENTIAL
• Experience in site set out and use of laser levels and power tools
• Any relevant tickets will be beneficial
