This is an exciting, challenging and dynamic role in an ever changing industry within a rapidly growing company, offering competitive remuneration.
Position Purpose:
This role involves service and repair of both new and used equipment in the workshop and field in an efficient and timely manner.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Servicing and maintaining machinery under warranty in field and workshop as needed.
- All online training modules are completed and maintained as needed.
- Diagnose Hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
- Uploading of all data logs, computers, pictures and other relevant information regarding in field or workshop jobs.
- Diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service in the workshop and field.
- Ensuring machinery is serviced as per company guidelines and carried out in a timely manner.
- Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers as well as reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Service Manager.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to maintain construction equipment and machinery
- Excellent customer service focus
- Trade qualifications including Mechanical, Hydraulic, Auto Electrical.
- Must have ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend solutions
- Must have Industry experience in Heavy Plant Equipment
