Super Gardens is Victoria’s longest standing Commercial Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Construction and Turf Management specialists, servicing a diverse range of clients in Australia for over 28 years.
 
Due to growth and changes within our existing team, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage one of our newest and largest Landscape Construction projects in the South East.
 
Working with an established team of Foremen, Qualified Landscapers and Apprentices, you will follow a job from its conception to completion, meeting with clients to discuss landscaping ideas, creating estimates for labour, and establishing budgets.

Leading the team, you will train them in proper work methods, and oversee their work to ensure that it's in line with project goals. An understanding of plant material, soil types, irrigation systems, pest control, and landscape construction methods is essential.

As the Project Manager, you will be required to;

·         Manage projects of varying size and complexity, ranging from $1,000 to $2 million plus;
·         Liaise with the customer in relation to finding solutions for minor landscape repairs and upgrades;
·         Prepare and submit quotations based on agreed schedule of rates and the projects that require quantifying and costing;
·         Submit monthly project claims;
·         Audit projects and submit detailed claims for client approval and;
·         Ensure HSEQ standards and policies are adhered to

In addition, with a strong background in Project Management from within the Landscaping, Building and Construction industries, you will utilise your experience to;
 
·         Prepare tender submissions including: the project management plan; methodology; environmental plan; traffic management plan and construction programme etc.;
·         Schedule labour, materials and resources to meet budgeted expectations;
·         Review and administrate costs for project variations;
·         Develop strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders;
·         Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractors; and
·         Perform project wrap-up meetings to evaluate actual results as compared with estimated costs, identify process improvements and review supplier and subcontractor performances to improve performance on future projects.
