The Projects they cover are across a range of commercial, industrial, retail, institutional, mixed-us developments, residential, public and iconic landmarks.

The Role is a recent vacancy. This opportunity has the platform to progress into the business as the Lead Estimator. You will report to the Estimating Manager, Project Manager, CCO and Managing Director.

The responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Estimating Knowledge of Microsoft projects and Levesys an advantage
• Interpret designs given by clients, architects and engineering consultants and provide value engineering options
• Drawing reviews, take offs, detailed quantities take offs.
• Produce and assist with tenders preparations and quotations 
• Working with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate competitive pricing and information.
• Preparing material, labour costs and project budgets
• Providing effective support to Project managers to enable effective critical path execution of the project plan

The Successful Applicant will have either a strong track record working for a contractor. You will have excellent communication skills, a strong business acumen and sound local knowledge of electrical systems. Ideally, we are seeking a professional with five (5) years' experience as an Estimator with appropriate trade qualifications / A Grade Electrician certification and/or Engineering Diploma or Degree. Design background ideal, but not essential
