Site Manager
Developer/Builder with a stellar reputation on delivering quality portfolio of commercial & mid rise apartments, delivering projects from circa $5m- $20M, is seeking to hire a proven Site Manager to join their growing team. They have large pipeline of projects well into middle of next year and completely self-financed.
The ideal Site Manager will be one who has delivered from the ground up to finishes on similar projects throughout Melbourne. You will have proven project history in delivering mixed use developments including 4 basement builds in the past. This is an immediate requirement as one of their residential projects will be coming out of the ground and they need a proven Site Manager to lead the delivery of this project. On each project, you will, as Site Manager have a full support team. Excellent opportunity to work within an established Melbourne team and friendly, professional working environment.
Responsibilities
- Project Safety plans
- Environmental plans
- Quality plans
- Prepare work programs and monitor progress of Site work
- Making sure that every aspect of the project stays on track
- Effective communication between subcontractors
- Must be comfortable speaking with clients.
- Working in partnership with Project Manager, this position encompasses all aspects of on-site project delivery.
SKILL/EXPERIENCE/QUALS NEEDED
- Delivered projects where there was a 2 basement and up 6 levels.
- Financial understanding of projects.
- Good network of sub-contractors within the Sydney area.
- Able to interpret both Architectural and Services drawings and Specifications
- Able to analyse problems and explore solutions
- Excellent communication / language skills - liaison with other areas will be required
- Solid Carpentry background or a Bachelors’ degree in Construction (preferred)
Always interested in speaking with Construction Directors, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers, Foreman, Contract Administrators & Estimators with Fit-Out or Ground Up experience.
