About the role
You will lead a team of experienced Supervisors and operational staff, ensuring projects meet performance, productivity and profitability expectations. We are looking for a Project Manager that can develop strategies to maintain and expand relationships with key clients as well as internal and external stakeholders. The role has strategic and operational challenges that will draw on your experience, test your intellect and provide an outlet for your commercial acumen.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience as a Project Manager and an extensive history of delivering and managing mobile crushing contracts.
Key Criteria
- Project Management qualifications or Trade/Engineer background would be highly beneficial
- Extensive experience in senior leadership positions
- 3+ years in a similar role within the contracting and/or mining services industry
- Experience in constructing chpp/material handling
- Strong technical experience across construction operations
- Commitment to the highest levels of safety, environmental and quality leadership
- Ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Strategic thinking and advanced analytical capability
- Able to develop, implement and manage budgets and forecasting
- Negotiation and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of legislative requirements relevant to mining operations
- Confident people manager and not afraid to make decisions
- Must be either an Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
- A high level of autonomy and self-sufficiency with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to handle competing deadlines
