Project Manager job close to Melbourne’s CBD with a Local Council delivering minor capital works projects.
Your new company
A Local Council situated close to Melbourne’s CBD is seeking a Project Manager to join their team for an initial 12 month contract, to assist in the delivery of a number of minor capital works projects. This team focuses on delivering projects to the benefit of the community and have the interest of their stakeholders as a motivator for delivering quality building projects.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Inspecting works to ensure that the project scope is reflective of the original project schedules
- Completing project designs and briefs
- Monitor projects and ensure timelines and budgets are being adhered to
- Following procurement guidelines
- Consulting and negotiating with stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated previous client side project management experience and have successfully delivered a range of refurbishment, upgrade and small new build projects.
- Strong contracts administration skills and have demonstrated community consultation skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or Architecture would be advantageous.
- Enthusiastic to drive projects and be self motivated.
