About the company
Two of the worlds leading Petrol providers are having updates to their service stations and our head contractor client is in need of a capable and driven Site Managers / General Foreman with experience in Retail, Service Staion Builds and advantagous working in “Live” environments, to hit the ground running, at a $12 million refurbishment, extension and update of an existing service stations in Manly and Liverpool.
This high performing Tier 2 builder are consistent in all facets of their work, they perform to the utmost quality and safety, with high end finishes displaying an acute eye for detail never cutting corners.
They are held in high regards by their repeat business clients. They have offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth and are envied by competitors for their continuous success working in complex live environments on intricate projects for Major Retail and Commercial Builders for major players.
About the role
As one of their General Foreman you will be expected to take full ownership of the project supervising site activities and delegating as necessary. You will be a seasoned Foreman looking to step into the role of a General Foreman quickly. Ideally you will have direct experience working on Service Staions for BP or Shell or on retail Projects (ALDI, Hungry Jacks, COLES, Westfield, MacDonald’s, and KFC) or commercial fit out or new build projects over $ million for a recognised builder.
Duties:
- Preparing programmes
- Staging and Sequencing works in a live Retail environment.
- Organising and Co-ordinating Trades
- Adherence to BCA standards
- Site Inspections, establishment and testing.
- Daily and Monthly reporting
- OH&S
- Subcontractor site Inductions
- Managing onsite issues
- Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.
Skills and Experience:
- You will have a minimum of 4 year’s experience working on similar projects.
- You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity.
- Exceptional Communication skills
- A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
- Good management approach.
