Are you a Contract Manager with infrastructure project delivery experience, looking for your next challenge?
Currently our Water Business, part of our Services Division has a requirement for an experienced contracts professional based out of Parramatta. Your responsibilities will be varied including the control and lead the formation, development, negotiation, execution and administration of all contractual arrangements while working in an environment where we are embedded with our client. You will be responsible for contract performance reporting and will enjoy building great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Procurement Leader and Senior Project Manager, you will also have the opportunity to; ensure that the opportunities and risks inherent in the performance of the service and contract undertaken are identified whilst ensuring appropriate strategies, resources and contractual arrangements are in place to maximise the opportunity whilst mitigating risks. You will maintain a professional standard of contract administration throughout all stages of the Project Life Cycle, utilising your experience across different types of projects, such as Lump Sum, Schedule of Rates, Alliance, Target out Turn, Design & Construct contracts.
You will have very high communication, interpersonal and commercial acumen skills combined with a tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, construction law or other relevant discipline. You must have comprehension of contract/construction law and statutory and legal obligations for engineering design and construction and service operations in Australia. Moreover, you will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in contract management practices, including claims management, reporting, dispute resolution and a deep understanding of GC21 style construction contracts and framework agreements.
The successful candidate will be able to draw on experience in different types of civil/mechanical infrastructure / commercial construction projects as we are specifically seeking to attract high performing and dynamic professionals keen to join a growing organisation that is achieving success in these sectors.
