POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Working in the  Brisbane areas, the position requires the successful applicant to:

• Supervise and manage all work carried out on site using your knowledge of current construction codes, building codes and regulations
• Manage and monitor compliance with construction documentation, regulations and construction standards
• Communicate with sub-contractors and suppliers in coordinating deliveries and work on sites
• Communicate in a professional manner throughout the construction process
• Maintain and update management with construction logistics
• Complete quality assurance inspections at various stages throughout the construction
• Ensure works are completed in a safe and timely manner and within a set budget .

KEY PROFILE:

To be considered for this role, we anticipate you will possess the following attributes:

• A tertiary or trade qualification in building and construction with a minimum 5 years experience in a similar role with references .
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high attention to detail
• Hold a Construction White Card and Queensland Drivers License
• A good level of organizational, decision making and time management skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritize tasks and exercise discretion
• Ability to work professionally in a team environment and seek mentoring from other team members

This position is available for an immediate start. Salary will be negotiated and commensurate with your experience.
