Opportunity for a driven Contracts Admin to step up. Manage fitout projects & work with experienced PMs.
Your new company
This company is lead by an excellent set of Directors that work hand-in-hand with the strong project and site teams. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional construction, fitout, refurbishment and heritage projects. Their track record is excellent with repeat and referred clients. Due to increase in the volume of work, there is an opportunity for the company to grow further. They have recently grown site-based staff and now there is a need for a Junior Project Manager.
Your new role
You will join the team in a role that will see you go from a Site Manager or a Contracts Admin and take the next step to transition into a PM. You will:
- Work on your own projects as well as with a PM on larger jobs;
- Be responsible for tendering, letting of contracts, pricing and scheduling; and
- Liaising with the site team as well as directors.
You will have the chance to take control, but you will have assistance and guidance from the Directors and a proven PM also, to ensure you are growing your skill set.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a similar role, or come from a Site Management or Contract Admin position ;
- The desire and ability to want to further your career;
- Ideally, you will have relevant industry qualifications in building and construction or something similar;
- You will need to show you can learn and adapt quickly and take things on board.
You must have experience in the construction industry in a similar role. Applications from other industries will not be considered.
