Your new company
My client is a multi award winning local Apartment builder who is quickly becoming one of the most recognisable names in the apartments market. Based in the Inner suburbs, this company has a complete order book of projects taking them into late 2019. The management are previously from Tier 1 backgrounds and over the last 18 months, their office team has doubled in size. Due to recently won tenders, they are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join their team to work on a $17M Apartment project in Essendon from start to finish.
Your new role
- You will be responsible for conducting toolbox meetings, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring OH&S and quality standards are met.
- Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure the efficient management of day to day operations.
- Procure building materials, plant and equipment hire and effectively manage site resources.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a Site Manager role for an Apartment Builder based in Australia.
- Experience on Commercial Apartment projects in excess of $10M+.
- You must have a degree relevant to Construction or a carpentry trade qualification.
- Tertiary qualification relevant to Construction or carpentry trade qualification.
- Experience as a Site Manager in the delivery of $5M+ Apartment projects is essential.
- Ability to achieve quality outcomes coupled with a can do attitude, through collaborative client based outcome solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
