The role of Site Coordinator is responsible for providing high quality facility maintenance services and assistance to the Team Leader Depots to ensure best practice for the efficient and safe operation, environmental sustainability and ongoing site management of all depot facilities.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Assist the Team Leader Depots as required to carry out routine scheduled inspection, testing, monitoring and reporting of the depot sites for environmental, safety and compliance and carry out rectification actions as required to ensure facilities are safe, fit for purpose and supporting the organisation’s priorities and objectives;
  • Engage, monitor, manage and coordinate contractors and internal service providers as required to deliver operational and capital works programs and schedules to meet planned and unplanned maintenance, budget and project objectives;
  • Assist Team Leader Depots as required to carry out contract negotiation and development of associated documentation in accordance with Central Coast Council’s Guidelines and Policies.

Essential Criteria:

  • General Construction Induction licence;

  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence;

  • Demonstrated experience in a building maintenance, asset or facilities management related roles, with experience in managing urgent day-to-day deliverables and project delivery;

  • Well-developed performance improvement and consultation skills, with proven ability to assess, interpret and judge information or situations, and formulate recommendations, provide specialist advice or deliver a service to achieve strategic and operational objectives;

  • Demonstrated experience undertaking physical maintenance tasks related to general landscaping, cleaning and handyman duties (e.g. building repair, air conditioning systems, general maintenance) in a commercial facilities or depot environment;

  • Demonstrated experience carrying out routine scheduled inspection, testing, monitoring and reporting, with knowledge of asset lifecycle planning and related documents;

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships and influence, persuade or negotiate outcomes that are of benefit or add value, to all or part of the organisation;

  • Ability to develop a coordinated approach to processes and systems, interpreting detailed data with proficiency in the use of computer databases or related commercial software packages including the Microsoft office suite.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Forklift operations certification;

  • Load shifting plant equipment certification;

  • Trade qualifications or extensive experience in building, construction or a related field;

  • Certificate qualifications in Facilities or Project Management;

  • Certificate in frontline management or equivalent supervisory qualifications.

This role provides a salary range of $1,042.30 to $1,250.90 per week ($54,345 to $65,221 per annum) + Superannuation.
