ABOUT THE ROLE:
AWX is seeking a skilled labourer to work in a Materials Services team based out of Roma.
This role will be working generally a 72.5 hour fortnight (9 or 8 day fortnight) with normal hours between 7:00am and 4:00pm with the potential for overtime if required for project delivery.
Travel/field work may be required throughout the Darling Downs and Southwest districts however when working away from Roma accommodation and meals will be covered.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE…
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Requirements:
- Construction worker’ accreditation (white card)
- Own PPE - (safety boots, long sleeve safety shirt, long trousers, and broad brim hat)
- Drivers Licence - Class C
- MUST be able to pay for and complete a pre-employment involving functional assessment + drug/ Alcohol screening
Desirable qualifications/experience:
- Certificate IV of Certificate III in Material Testing
- Experience in road pavement testing procedures/methods
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Assist with sample preparation in the laboratory
- Assist with basic laboratory testing
- General cleaning and maintenance of test equipment
- Assist with field sampling and testing
