Your new company
My client is a local main contractor, specializing in commercial fit-out, refurbishment, new build and restoration works to values up to $5m. With a continually increasing pipeline of work, they are looking to welcome a driven and experienced Junior Project Manager into their team. With a young and vibrant culture, this presents an excellent opportunity for a JPM who is looking to grow with the business into Senior Management.
Your new role
With the support of Senior Management and the Directors of the business you will be able to work autonomously and as part of a successful team. You will:
- Ensure company policies are maintained and Contractual compliance
- Develop realistic timelines, schedules and budgets
- Prepare documentation for pricing including trade break ups
- Prepare the program and the quality, safety and management plans for your allocated projects
What you'll need to succeed
- A trades background (preferably Carpentry) or tertiary qualification relevant to Construction
- At least 3-5 years experience in the position of a Junior Project Manager
- A proved record for delivering projects from end to end
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to work autonomously
