We are seeking a highly competent and motivated individual to take up the position of Project Manager - Mechanical (Wet) Fire Protection Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and leading multi discipline teams consisting of internal and external resources to successfully deliver solutions and installation of various types of fire protection systems and equipment.
You will be responsible for:
- The overall delivery and management of projects
- Managing and leading the project team
- Responsible for the financial performance of the project (revenues, costs, forecasts)
- Ensuring that the highest possible levels of quality are provided
- Apply and Support WHS initiatives
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 5+ years of Project Management or supervisory experience in the Fire Industry
- Broad knowledge of fixed Mechanical and Special Hazards Fire systems, Australian Standards and Building Codes
- Ability to understand and decipher fire system specifications and drawings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes within budget
- Competent leadership, customer service and communication skills.
