About the business

MARKSCON specialise in high-end multi-unit townhouse and apartment developments, as well as commercial retail and industrial complexes. We are selective in what projects we tender and are focused on sustained diversified growth. Currently we undertake projects in value between $2 and $15 million for reputable and VIP clients. 

We also undertake Concrete Structure Packages as a Large Sub-Contractor for Major Builders.

About the role

Reporting to the Structures Manager, you will be a key member of the project delivery team. Working across multiple projects you will be responsible for document control, project correspondence, contract administration, deliveries and stock control.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone that wants to be in the thick of the action, who enjoys a fast paced, team environment and thrives on the satisfaction of delivering quality projects on time and on budget.

 

Contract Administration to assist the Project Team in the Concrete Structures business, undertaking:

  1. Formwork, Reinforcement & Concrete Estimating & Tenderering.
  2. Tendering & Ordering building materials for the site teams. 
  3. Reinforcement Procurement & Scheduling.
  4. Material logistic co-ordination.
  5. Liaise with the Site Foreman on a daily basis and manage project programs & budgets. 
  6. Manage variation claims and payments.
  7. Review and approve Tax Invoices from creditors (suppliers). 
  8. Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers to suppliers based on Project Estimates/Budgets. 
  9. Track Project Costs against Budgets.
  10. Review engineering & architectural drawings and co-ordinate information to the project team. 
  11. Keep project registers for tools & equipment, formwork frames, ply wood and LVLs. 
  12. Make bookings for concrete deliveries, pumps and labour.

Skills and experience

Minimum 2 Years Experience Required. 

Graduate of Diploma of Building or Construction Management

Eager to learn and committed to self development

Knowledge in Concrete Structures is extremely beneficial, but not totally necessary.
