The client

Our client is a commercial and industrial Australian construction company with over 30 years’ experience. They have an in full in-house manufacturing facility producing quality products designed exclusively for the industry.
The company is in expansion due to the amount of work they have on now and coming up in the future. It is an exciting time to join the company and really be part of their growth.

The role

We are looking for people with Local Experience as knowing the Australian building codes is a must. The right person should come from a structural or civil background and have already demonstrated that they can handle projects of around 5-7 m+. This could include candidates who are already at DM level at a similar sized company or Structural Engineers on the Consultants side who would like to move to the Contractor.

This person should have management and leadership skills, will not only be able to deliver the work but also build a department and know how to get the best out of the resources on hand.
As the company is in a growth phase, you will really get a huge say on how to implement new processes and procedures and your work could really influence the company as a whole. They need someone to come in a hit the ground running.

You will be in charge of several projects at once nationwide and will have to visit projects from time to time but will spend most of your time in Orange.
