ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A reputable and respected Fitout Contractor, established for over 15 years in Canberra and interstate. They are specialists in Government, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial projects valued between $200k and $5m. Renowned in the industry for their excellent execution of high quality projects and customer satisfaction.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Fitout Foreman you will commence on a commercial project valued at $3m. You will be responsible for the entire project, and be reporting to the Project Manager. You will be managing the site team to ensure the project is complete within time-frames, and at the highest quality.
DUTIES.
- Manage site safety, WHS, trades and subcontractors
- Implement the construction programming
- Ensure time restraints are adhered to
- Conduct inductions and tool box talks
- Read and interpret detailed site plans
- Scheduling of works and deliveries
- Site set out and mark out
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Previous experience as a Fitout Foreman
- Tertiary qualification in a building discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate site personnel
- Strong record of delivering projects from ground to handover
