The Situation

Rare opportunity for a Project Manager and/or Estimator or an upcoming Account Manager with 3+ years’ experience to join a big name in Brisbane's Mechanical Contracting arena as part of their ongoing growth plans.


The Role

This role will see you rubbing shoulders with Senior Managers and Directors on a daily basis and will enable you actually have a say in what goes on in the business. Working closely with the Managing Director you will be responsible for designing and estimating D&C projects ranging in value, size and complexity.

This role has the potential to take on Project Management capabilities with a hands on opportunity where you really can make a difference.


The Responsibilities

You will liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, internal and external clients providing design options, estimating your own designs accordingly and achieving all delivery targets.

This opportunity will provide you the experience working with an industry leading Tier 2 Mechanical Contractor, gain exposure to the design and construction process of medium to large construction projects and work in a supportive team.

Play an active role in the design preparation of D+C projects.

Provide conceptual design for a diverse range of project briefs, valued up to $5M.

Liaise and coordinate with various resources, offering technical sound design options to ensure the clients requirements are met and exceeded.


The Requirements

• Relevant HVAC qualifications with extensive estimating experience
• Experience in designing and estimating in the HVAC market
• Proven history of winning tenders through own design and estimating
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
