Reason for hiring a Excavator Operator / Gas Labourer:
Due to our strong growth in installing new gas services, we are currently recruiting a Gas Labourer to join our team. The applicant must be willing to travel to our Greater Brisbane based sites, have proven relevant experience and possess a strong work ethic. This role requires a great amount of physical activity and the applicant must be suitably physically capable before considering this position. This is a great opportunity for someone willing to learn and grow with our company.
As a Excavator Operator / Gas Labourer with MTC, your job will be assisting Crew Leaders and Supervisors in carrying out daily tasks including service laying and mains laying for gas.
Requirements for Excavator Operator / Gas Labourer:
- MR Licence
- Construction White Card
- Physically fit
- Flexibility of hours to cover after hours roster and emergency call-outs
Desirable for Excavator Operator / Gas Labourer:
- Fusion Welding
- Previous experience in customer contact
- Excavators Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- Traffic Management Level 2 Certificate
- BA and Confined Space
- Previous experience in gas pipe laying, trenching, connections, trenching and/or excavating
