About SwingShift Nurses:
SwingShift Nurses was established in 2000 and since that time has built an enviable reputation as one of the most highly regarded Nursing Agencies in Melbourne. The Agency facilitates the casual placement of Nurses and PCA/PSA staff to hospitals and health care facilities across Melbourne.
We currently have an opening for an experienced Allocations Consultant to join our close knit team
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Coordinating the placement of healthcare staff into suitable shifts
- Documenting client staffing requests accurately into a computerised program
- Processing bookings, shift changes and staff availabilities
- Liaising with hospitals and healthcare facilities to highlight and rectify staffing needs
- Marketing available staff to healthcare facilities
- Establishing and maintaining effective work relations with members and clients
- General office administration and filing duties
To be considered for the role, you will possess:
- Previous call centre training and experience
- Nursing Agency allocations skills and experience
- Outstanding phone manner
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- A customer service focus
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven team work skills
- A good working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Sound problem solving and analytical skills
The position involves a rotating roster that includes a combination of morning, afternoon and evening shifts and includes weekend work (office hours are 0500am until 11pm, 7 days a week).
