Live Chat Advisor

A fantastic career opportunity is now available within the Client Service team for the position of full time Live Chat Advisor. The position will be based at Oroton Support Office in McMahons Point, Sydney. This role is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Client Services - Team Lead, you will provide a high standard of customer service and respond to customer enquiries via our online Live Chat service. This diverse role will ensure that communication between stores and Support Office is delivered in an effective and timely manner and that our external customer experience is exceptional every time.

The role

Your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

  •  Provide exceptional customer service via Online Live Chat to Oroton Customers
  • Provide outstanding service support to internal retail teams
  •  Support with external customer phone and email enquiries as required
  •  Process and follow up online returns (refunds and exchanges)
  •  Other general administration support as required

The person

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Strong customer service experience, ideally within a retail store environment
  •  Strong computing and fast typing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in particular a friendly and personable phone manner
  • Ability to handle difficult customer enquires in a calm and professional manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (specifically excel – intermediate level)
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Self motivated individual with a professional, enthusiastic and can do attitude
