We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual for a full-time, 6 month fixed-term position with our Customer Service Team at our premises in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. There is a good chance of ongoing permanency in either full or part time employment for the right candidate.
This role will focus on responding to customer needs and enquiries relating to assistance, installations, fault resolution, administrative duties and daily reporting; ensuring the highest level of consistent and quality service delivery to clients.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Consultant will work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and requires availability between the hours of 8am and 6 pm. This is a fixed term opportunity, with possibility of extension and/or permanency.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in customer service roles
- Demonstrated ability to empathise with people in need and be responsive to their needs
- Sound level of competency in the use of computers and office equipment, including Microsoft applications and business systems relevant to the role
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve issues with clients, suppliers, management and staff at all levels
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Respond to incoming telephone calls
- Ascertain the nature of client requests and deal with the in the appropriate manner, according to policies and procedures
- Process installations of medical alarm units connected directly to the Monitoring Centre in a timely and efficient manner as per contractual requirements
- Provide first level fault support to clients experiencing alarm issues
- Update client database in ensure that information is correct
It is essential that candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the focus towards, and ability to deliver an exception level of customer service - customer focus is key to the success of this role.
