Our client is a national leading in the exhibition and event industry. They are seeking a senior sales or call centre professional to undertake a rapid expansion of their already sales team. You must be prepared to pick-up the phone, lead by example and set the pace with your team!
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will oversee both the telesales and in-field sales teams and be responsible for driving sales and business development across Australia. The focus will be to accelerate and acquire new customers via a lead generation team, manage and retain existing accounts and building strong partnerships nationally.

What does Success Look Like?
- Utilise strong interpersonal skills to attract, lead and motivate your sales team from the front
- Establish and live and breathe a great performance sales culture across your team
- Pickup the phone to call prospects, coach your team and ensure KPIs are achieved
- Prepare sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
- Responsible for ensuring exceptional customer and staff morale satisfaction
About You:
- 5+ years of relevant experience of sales experience (at least 2 years as a sales manager or team leader)
- Experience in with Solution Sales (preferably in the events and exhibition industry)
- Able to “think-out of the box”.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- A good team player, able to monitor overall situation
- Proven success /track record as a high performing sales person
- Experience using Microsoft Office products
- Experience using CRM and reporting tools in a sales environment.
- Advanced written and oral English language skills.
