About the role

IntraSpace is looking for a self-driven individual with proven telemarketing and organisational skills to join our enthusiastic team environment in a brand new Office / Warehouse based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. This well-established company provides storage systems, mobile shelving, display shelving, furniture solutions etc. for several different industries nationally such as, education, libraries, businesses, councils through to large scale healthcare storage solutions for leading hospitals.

The role

This is an office based role dedicated to the development of potential business. The client base is mostly professional and mature people and the approach will need to be the same. The phone and email contact would, to begin with be:

  • Following up existing Clients who know the Company, but  who have not bought recently
  • Following up potential clients who again know the company, and for whom we have quoted on projects.

Since IntraSpace is listed on some High Profile Preferred Supplier lists the candidate would then be approaching potential clients on those data bases.

The role has no remote connection with the high pressure “tele-marketers” that we have all become used to hanging up on, but is rather a role that works to build a strong image of the company and to develop solid business relationships.

Hours: Office: hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. These could be varied and does not have to be full time.

Salary range: Based on experience and expertise Incl. Super

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Systematic and methodical phoning or email contact of all major potentials including mailing out and follow-up any required marketing materials.
  • Produce appointments and leads and hand them over to the Sales team. 
  • Control records of all potentials within the business on CRM
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of all products and potential uses.

Expertise

  • Strong communication skills with experience in telemarketing, information control and self-management. 
  • Knowledge of record keeping and script setting. 
  • Happy and engaging personality traits.
