Your new company
At the forefront of the Public Sector in Victoria and located in the outer-southeastern suburbs this forward thinking innovative organisation is looking to bring on a new Customer Contact Officer, in an ongoing temporary nature to provide professional customer service in a team that provides leading edge service delivery.
Your new role
As an enthusiastic customer service advisor you will be working in a team that answers call from customers over a 24/7 roster. You will be responsible for taking a inbound calls and responding in a prompt and timely manner to address their issues and queries.
What you'll need to succeed
- Flexibility with schedule - Open availability 24/7 particularly availability Thursday, Friday and Sunday overnight.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and respond to their inquires which can be of an urgent nature
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to multitask, think quickly and ask the right questions to attain the correct information and respond on the spot
- Ability to understand the customers’ needs and service them in a calm and friendly manner
- Expertise working in a call centre environment taking large volume of calls is mandatory
- A clear understanding of the area and surrounding suburbs
- Ability to navigate across multiple internal databases
- Ability to work with KPI’s
- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident as it is an ongoing
- Follow strict polices and government guidelines
What you'll get in return

- Hours will range from 20 + hours per week
- Fantastic hourly rate plus penalty rates apply after 7pm
- Rostered 1 month in advance
- Opportunity to go permeant
- Flexibility to be on call and available days you are not rostered on (mainly for afternoon shifts and night shifts along with weekends)
- Main shifts will be Thursday and Friday afternoon from 2:45pm - 9:15pm and Sunday from 10:30pm to 6:30am.
