The company
Our client is a leading supplier of scientific instrumentation and consumables and are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a permanent, full time basis.
This role will require the successful candidate to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 4:30pm.
The Role
Reporting into the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all customer orders, invoices and bookings are completed accurately and efficiently
- Handling all customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating all and any issues where necessary
- Liaising with internal and external staff
- Data entry
Skills & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering customer service and have a collaborative and flexible approach working as part of a team. You will also have the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science
- A minimum of 1 year previous experience working in a fast-paced customer orientated environment
- Strong time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a pleasant and confident telephone manner
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and PC skills
- Product/market knowledge of scientific consumables is highly desirable
- Previous experience working within the scientific industry or sales is highly desirable
