Our client is an award winning Queensland based residential house builder who has a reputation for quality and looking after both clients and staff, which has led to their continued success. Substantial growth over the last 12 months has now led to the requirement for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team working out of their head office on the Northern Gold Coast. 

Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager your role and day to day duties will consist of the following : 
  • Maintaining onsite customer service relationships by creating and maintaining client files with the relevant contract and associated documentation;
  • Prepare construction quotes & variations to plans
  • Ensuring that clients are updated during the construction phase and respond to client queries with a sense of urgency providing a high level of Customer Service. 
  • Providing administrative site assistance to our construction supervisors;
  • Liaise with Councils , Town planners and Financiers as required
  • Providing all relevant documentation including compliance certificates to nominated building inspector to occupancy permit;
  • Liaising with various internal departments including estimating and drafting teams to clarify progress or issues raised by clients and other departments;
  • Ordering of construction and soil reports and insurances
  • Coordinating Client Settlements and facilitate settlement and handover process with clients;
To apply for this role the Customer Service Officer will posses the following skills and experience : 
  • Experience working for a volume residential builder is essential - 2 years + is mandatory 
  • Good understanding of various stages of the construction process;
  • Good understanding of building regulations, codes and architectural plans;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and deal with a variety of activities;
  • Good MS Office skills;
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to be hands on and a can do attitude
  • A team player
