Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced permanent full time Knowledge Management Specialist to join the Customer Experience Group, based in Gladstone.

The purpose of this position is to operate as a change driver with a focus on capturing, consolidating and presenting knowledge of Council’s processes and procedures to allow customer service representatives to effectively and efficiently resolve customer enquiries and requests within the customer solutions team in a responsive, high quality and cost-effective manner.

About you

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive practical experience in a relevant field.
  2. Demonstrated experience in facilitating transformation, change, and/or improvements to deliver successful and significant business outcomes along with a demonstrated ability to identify, implement and review the process to affect positive change/s in service delivery.
  3. Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
  4. Demonstrated initiative, including the ability to initiate, implement and respond effectively to change.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to transformation and change which results in positive change/s in the workplace and service delivery.
  6. Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
  7. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
  8. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
