A NSW Government department wishes to engage ongoing Full Time Customer Service Representatives to work in their modern call centre based in Parramatta.

  • $30.00 hr + S /35hrs a week/
  • Based next door to Parramatta Station
  • Rotating hours between 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday

The Role

This NSW Govt Department provides outstanding customer service to a range of business and residential clients. Demonstrating empathy at all times you will be able to action all queries in a timely and effective manner. Keeping true to their mission and values you will be an active team player by your high work ethic and positive attitude.

The Candidate

  • Customer service experience
  • High work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Impressive listening skills that identify clients needs and provide appropriate solutions to customer enquiries
  • Intermediate computer skills - to be able to navigate though internal systems
  • Enthusiasm and self motivated
  • Ability to work as part of a positive team

Skills Required:

  • You must be able to identify client needs and provide timely, accurate and effective service for clients.
  • Be able to build positive relationships in all interactions to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Manage time and adhere to roster schedule.
  • Escalate complex enquiries or issues to a senior client service officer. Contribute to the centres excellent performance
  • General administration skills
