HOBAN is seeking to engage the knowledge and experience of a Member Service Consultant, working within an inbound call centre, for a Banking organisation located in the Brisbane CBD. Commencing mid-July, this is a temporary assignment for approximately 3 months with possibility of permanent placement to the right candidate.
As a Member Service Consultant, you will complete a range of duties including maintenance of membership/accounts, arranging transactional payments, providing insurance services and responding to general enquiries. This position requires you to have a strong professional drive, the ability to work autonomously and build positive relationships with members.
Reporting to management, you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure all member enquiries are answered promptly within a professional manner whether by phone, email or social media
- Resolve member enquires / complaints at first point of contact and ensure satisfaction / resolution
- Follow appropriate policies and procedures within timely manner
- Maintain active oversight and control of call queues to ensure timely and efficient service
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information to members or prospective members and recognise opportunities to up sale products where necessary
- Undertake transactional processing duties including internal / external transfers etc.
- Stay up-to-date with current products through coaching / training
- Provide administrative support within the branch where necessary
As an experienced Member Service Consultant, you will possess the following:
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office)
- Strong customer service skills and prior demonstrated experience within a service setting (inbound)
- Strong team work and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
