Your new company
A well-established state government department is experiencing great growth is now seeking multiple Customer Service Officers for their site in Melbourne’s CBD. They are responsible for assisting the general public in basic enquires regarding state government legislation and policies. They are a renowned Government Department and known for their high levels of customer service, could you be the new face of the Customer Care and Assist team?
Your new role
this role is a junior state government role which will be suitable for someone seeking to get into government and work in general, inbound customer service environment. The role will involve inbound calls from customers ranging from individual customers or business wanting to understand State Government process, polices and legislation. This is a nice, inbound customer service role which will involve some administration and usage of computer skills.
What you'll need to succeed
- Customer service experience, open to hospitality, retail or call centre experience
- Experience in handling a variety of complications and queries at once
- Be system savvy and computer literate
- Have EXCELLENT communication skills, written and verbally.
- Be available to work on the rotating roster, 6am-6pm (8 hours per day) Monday to Friday
- Be customer focused and driven by providing an outstanding service
- Show enthusiasm and commitment!
- Ideally Public Sector Experience
