An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly dedicated and energetic individual to become an integral part of the team based in Tullamarine as a Customer First Officer/Parts Interpretor.  Our facility provides parts distribution services to an internationally renowned and respected player in the automotive industry.

 

Reporting to the Customer First Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

•  Providing backup support to Parts Interpreters and the Customer First Coordinator

•  Providing key administrative tasks for the facility

•  Liaising with the dealers and other stakeholders via telephone and email

•  Assistance with supporting the dealer network with technical enquiries

•  Data entry as required

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following professional/personal attributes:

•  Strong Parts interpretation skills/background   

•   Strong SAP experience in a customer service environment is required

•   Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (advanced preferred)

•   Customer service background in an automotive environment or other high volume logistics environment is preferred

•   Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

•   Excellent telephone manner

•   Excellent adaptability/flexibility to work in a fast paced environment

•  Strong time management skills and high attention to detail

•   Strong initiative and process improvement skills

 

It is expected the successful incumbent will possess a commitment to operational excellence and a focus on customer service. Expertise in parts interpreting, SAP computer based warehousing systems, and broad based computer skills are required, while extensive experience in a parts distribution environment is essential. Overtime hours are also available.
