Our client is a global leader in resource recovery, recycling and waste management, turning waste into valuable resources to help protect our environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer wanting an ongoing opportunity with full time hours in the South Eastern Suburbs.
The Position
Working within a team of 10 Customer Service Officers, you will be responsible for answering high volume calls from existing and some new customers. Your professional phone manner and pleasant demeanour will be put to use in this role where no 2 days are the same. Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
- Inbound and outbound calls
- Follow up on customer enquiries and bookings
- Advising customers of any changes to their service
- Follow up on any account or invoice related enquiries
- Provide pricing information
- Increase credit limits
You
To be successful in the role you will be:
- Able to seamlessly multitask i.e. perform accurate data entry whilst engaged on the phone with the customer
- Experienced in dealing with high volume calls that require sound problem solving skills and initiative
- Familiar with using a CRM
- Empathetic and resilient
- Thorough with a good attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Experience in a similar role within the waste industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is an immediate start and an ongoing casual position with full time hours - Monday to Friday.
