A unique chance to work on a number of important film campaigns in the Film and TV industry for a short contract with the possibility to extend.
We have a number of films in release across the world covering such diverse topics as Female empowerment, Indigenous issues, Refugees, Suicide Prevention and Body Image. These campaigns have the potential to create real social change - but we need your help.
We are looking for ambitious and entrepreneurial assistants to join our bookings team for a 4 - 6 week contract beginning immediately and possibly extending beyond this term. Hours are 9 - 5.30 Monday to Friday.
You will be working closely with our Creative Director and Bookings Manager on a number of ongoing film campaigns with bookings and international customer enquiries. There will also be an amount of training to get you familiar with our systems.
You will need to be a team player with a confident outgoing personality. You are incredibly organised with great attention to details. You will have impeccable written and communication skills and love dealing with people.

This is also a good opportunity for a long term position within a new and fast growing company once the contract has ended.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating cinema bookings with Hosts and Cinemas through via email and phone
· Driving film screening promotions and attendances.
- Writing social media communications and emails
· Promoting and posting on social networks
· Assisting with developing new promotions and events
Must have's
- 'Can do' attitude and eagerness to achieve goals.
- Call Centre or similar customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A vibrant personality and great phone manner
- Ability to deal with customer conflicts and help resolve them
- A genuine interest in marketing and promotion
- Ability to network, engage & influence people
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets in a small entrepreneurial team
- Experience with social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram
- Experience in an Apple Mac environment
Nice to have's
- Basic experience with Adobe software - Photoshop
- Experience with Wordpress administration
- Event experience

If it all works out there is the potential for extending the contract
This is a junior contract position with a basic hourly rate.
