As a senior member of the portfolio management team, you will actively manage a dedicated client portfolio, ensuring all aspects of risk (post settlement) are upheld. The portfolio combines complex project finance transactions with some more complex cashflow debts.

The role allows you to combine your technical expertise to assess and monitor complex credit proposals as well as engage directly with clients to maintain senior stakeholder relationships on behalf of the group.

Daily, you will be responsible for all credit aspects of your client portfolio. You will actively manage and monitor credit risk exposures, undertake strategy planning and analysis, manage ongoing project risk and completion timelines, maintain regular contact with key client stakeholders, implement active risk mitigation strategies and report all potential portfolio risks to group executive.

To succeed in this position you must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Considerable credit experience assessing all aspects of Project Finance transactions
• The ability to identify and mitigate credit risks, communicating these in both written and verbal form
• Experience using and interpreting financial models to undertake sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor account managers and credit analysts
• Experience liaising with clients and the maturity to form strong working relationships
• Tertiary qualifications in disciplines such as Finance, Commerce or Accounting
