• Full time, 12 month fixed term/Secondment opportunity
The Rural Bank Operations division are looking for Agribusiness Support Officers to join our Operations Team. The roles are for 12 months, with an opportunity to be extended.
As part of the Operations team you’ll be helping all our customers from our large family corporates to farmers looking to grow. You will record and action transactions, prepare documentation and attend to settlements. Your efficiency will help Australian farmers focus on the future.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Team Leader, the Agribusiness Support Officer (ASO) is responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient service and support to frontline relationship staff including:
- High quality data entry and analysis of customer information, preparation of loan submissions and general administration activities
- Preparation of customer loan and security documentation
- Co-ordination of settlement and drawdown of customer facilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Sales and Distribution staff
Attributes to be effective in this role are:

- Task Orientation – Works hard, remains motivated, shows persistence and commits to a task in order to achieve worthwhile goals.
- Customer Service – Identifying customers’ needs where appropriate and providing outstanding value.

Experience & Qualification requirements:
- Experience in an Operations team environment
- Experience in financial or banking environment
- An understanding of the Agribusiness environment would be desirable but not essential
- AFS Tier 2 accreditation (Financial Services Reform Act) desirable
- Computer skills in applications and business systems
