A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the right candidate in our Credit Office as a Credit Officer.
This position will be advertised internally and externally.
Your primary role as a Credit Officer is to manage the credit extended on Radio Rentals Group products to ensure maximum returns. The role involves regular contact with customers and the negotiation of satisfactory arrangements to ensure arrears are minimised and losses avoided.
Reporting to the Assistant Credit Manager, Operations this role involves liaising with customers regarding arrears payment arrangements, locating missing customers and general account queries associated with delinquent accounts. This diverse role also involves liaising with Mercantile agencies.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confidence in the use of different computer programs
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Ability and desire to achieve targets
- A solid work ethic and a high level of motivation
Credit/collection experience is desirable but not essential. If you are hard working, motivated and committed to providing a high level of customer service, whilst being mindful of the Company's best interests, this is the role for you.
Hours of work for this role are Monday - Friday, with either an 8.00am or 9.00am start time; with one ½ rostered day off per fortnight.
