An Australian bank are looking for an analyst to join their Group Compliance team to support the License Management team in building, implementing and maintaining an enterprise compliance framework.
In particular the role will support the creation of a centre of excellence that will ensure compliance with licensing requirements, credit licenses and fit and proper persons requirements in Australia.
This is an ideal position for an ambitious career-focused analyst who would like to build their experience in financial services.
This role will suit someone coming from banking, asset management, superannuation, insurance or consultancy.
You will:
- Support the creation of a Centre of Excellence which will underpin the License Business Owners to implement a license management framework
- Ensure efficiencies are made through the centralisation of the team, consistent processes and group-wide oversight and control
- Assist in the co-ordination or annual licence reviews – AFSL, ACL.
- Assist in regulatory submissions
- Contribute to the mainetenance and review of all licence management process documents, policies, procedures and declarations
- Develop, implement and enhance the license management framework
You Will have:
- Understanding of financial services industry from a compliance/risk/audit scope
- Understanding of relevant regulators (ASIC, APRA) and the current regulatory environment
- Exceptional communication skills and ambition
