An exciting opportunity for a compliance manager with investments, superannuation, insurance, and/ or wealth experience to join a growing international organisation in Sydney.
Reporting into the Head of Risk and Compliance this role is responsible for supporting the Head of Risk and Compliance on defining, implementing and driving the three lines of defence structure throughout the business. You will be part of a growing global organisation with a collaborative working environment, relatively flat structure with exposure to directors and senior management.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Compliance Manager in helping define and implement the 3 lines of defence
- Working closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance and Senior Compliance Manager, this role will be key in managing the framework and controls, conducting compliance reviews, provision of compliance advice, and reporting to the Board.
- Providing advice to departments on regulatory changes
- Investigation of any regulatory breaches and analysis of causes
- Big drive on compliance culture
- Run training programs for employees
Your background:
- Well-developed communication skills and professionalism
- Experience with compliance breaches and incident reporting
- A team player, not afraid to take on a diverse role with exposure to senior management and directors
- Experience in license management and policy review
- Strong knowledge in financial products
- Experience in legal/compliance/regulatory
- Control room experience is beneficial
- Experience looking at branding and marketing
- Experience working on large volumes of work and meeting tight deadlines
