Since 1981 GSK Insurance Brokers have been providing professional, innovative advice and service to our commercial and domestic clients. We handle all general classes of insurance and our client base spans a diverse range of industries.

We are seeking a part time Premium Funding Coordinator for our in-house premium funding business – West Premium Funding. You will play an important role in the day to day management of our Premium Funding business and will be given the autonomy and responsibility to make this role your own.

Working from our Belmont office you will liaise with premium funders and clients by phone and email, whilst providing first class service to our broking team

You will be given all the training, tools and support that you need to make this role a success.

This is a part-time position.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Creating and processing new funding contracts
  • Responding to client and premium funder requests and enquiries.
  • Negotiating terms with external funding companies and brokers
  • Creating quotations
  • Debtor management and arrears reporting
  • Month end reporting
  • Setting up direct debit payments
  • Managing investor payments
  • Reconciliation of bank statement
  • Replying to email and phone enquiries

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Previous experience in an insurance broking, banking, finance or bookkeeping environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel – intermediate level or higher
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively without supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with Red Planet will be viewed favourably
