We currently have an opportunity for a Collections Officer to join our operations support team in Sydney.
Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, the Collections Officer is responsible for protecting Scottish Pacific's exposure whilst simultaneously striving to give best possible service to clients by carrying out effective debt recovery via collection calls on behalf of our clients, whilst delivering speedy and accurate responses to queries.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish good working relationships with a portfolio of clients
- Carry out debt recovery collection calls to our client's debtors
- Collate clear and concise collection notes on the Scottish Pacific operating system
- Awareness and detection of matters that may be of a fraudulent nature and/or present a credit risk to Scottish Pacific
- Prompt and accurate responses to client, debtor and internal queries
You will have
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid communication skills (written & verbal)
- Time management and organisational skills
- The proven ability to work well both within a team and autonomously
